A PhD at LVPEI
LVPEI’s research laboratories offer off-campus Ph.D. programmes, recognized by the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani and the University of Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Animal Sciences in the University of Hyderabad recognize the off-campus Ph.D. programme at LVPEI’s research laboratories.
Our laboratories encourage inter-disciplinary Ph.D. programmes. The Ph.D. programmes at LVPEI are not advertised; recruitment is based on the Curriculum Vitae (CV) submitted by interested candidates and is subject to vacancy and the requirements of the laboratories. The Institute DOES NOT have a Fellowship programme and admits candidates qualified for the CSIR-NET Fellowship only.
Currently 18 graduate students and 3 post-doctoral fellows are pursuing their respective programmes at LVPEI.
