Volunteers have been a valued resource for LV Prasad Eye Institute for over two decades. They work along with the vision rehabilitation team, playing an active role towards the rehabilitation of those with visual impairment. - Voice lending for digital audio books
- Printing educational material in Braille and large print
- Developing teaching-learning material
- Translation of educational materials into vernacular languages
- Fundraising for rehabilitation programs and activities
- Monetary assistance for education and employment

- Coordination of events-parental workshops/special events/camps
- Assistance in educational and vocational placement
