Spread across the LVPEI Pyramid, the Anant Bajaj Retina Institute offers enhanced and expanded retinal services to our patients. We have 29 faculty spread across our centres offering high-quality eye care.
One of the key strengths of the Retina Institute is our strong basic and clinical research legacy. Our research interests cover uveitis, retinopathy of prematurity, retinal detachment, stem cell therapies, cancers and more.
We are also one of the largest training centres for retinal specialists in the world. We offer international fellowships, including to low- and middle-income countries, taking our expertise to the many who cannot visit us. In addition, we have deep investments in appropriate technologies and the new-generation AI and machine learning tools that help us build predictive models for patient outcomes.
