Sudipta Mahato Awarded PhD for Research on Gene Mutations in Patient-Specific iPSC Models

Dr Sudipta Mahato has earned her PhD from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, for her research on disease-causing gene mutations, conducted under Dr Indumathi Mariappan’s mentorship. Topic of her thesis is ‘Dissecting the Functional Effects of Disease-Causing Gene Mutations in a Patient-Specific iPSC Model System.’
