Fellows received award at INOS meeting

At the 5th annual conference of the Indian Neuro-ophthalmology Society (INOS):
LVPEI faculty moderated eight sessions and presented nine invited talks. Many of our fellows and faculty also presented free papers and posters, winning awards in various categories:

Winners in free paper sessions 1:
     – Dr Amol Bansal: 1st prize; title: Treatment modalities in poor outcomes in optic neuritis
     – Dr Harika Penjarla Priyamvada: 2nd prize; title: Factors predictive of recurrence in myelin oligodendrocyte (MOG) optic neuritis
     – Dr Shivani Bansal: 3rd prize; title: Neurological, ophthalmic and MRI features in a series of patients with Joubert Syndrome (JS)

Winner in free paper sessions 2:
     – Dr Sampada Kulkarni: 3rd prize; title: Clinical presentation and optical coherence tomography features of early vogt-koyanagi harada disease misdiagnosed as idiopathic intracranial hypertension

Winners in Case Presentations
     – Dr Abeer Ahmed: 1st prize in case presentation 2; title: One eye up the other eye down in chronic unilateral pons infarct
     – Dr Aniruddh Heroor: 3rd prize in case presentation 1; title: Paracentral acute middle maculopathy in a patient with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease
     – Dr Abhipsa Sharma: 1st prize in case presentation 3; title: How to ‘tract’ a snowman?- coexisting pituitary macroadenoma and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy

Winner in Electronic-case Presentation
     – Dr Adeline Shona Lasrado: 2nd prize; title: Omnious optic disc following a breach in embankment

Winner in Physical Poster Competition
     – Dr Sunanda Nandi: 1st prize; title: The Tale of Double Fovea

 Winner in Podium Presentation
     – Dr Dagmawi Abebe: 1st prize in session small series; title: Overdiagnosis of ocular myasthenia
