A Decade of Excellence in Eye Care Education: 10th Education Day!

Education has been at the core of LVPEI’s mission since its establishment in 1987. In 2013, the academy marked its inaugural Education Day, celebrating graduates and trainees from diverse programs. Recently, the Standard Chartered – LVPEI Academy for Eye Care Education celebrated its 10th Education Day with Professor K Srinath Reddy, Former President of the Public Health Foundation of India and Former Head of the Department of Cardiology, AIIMS, New Delhi, as the Guest of Honour. The event celebrated the graduation of 223 trainees, including Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Vision Technicians, Ophthalmic Nurse Assistants, Rehabilitation Assistants, Technical Assistants, Ophthalmic Medical Equipment Technicians, and graduates from the Diploma in Eye Health Management program.
