Biography
Dr Mayank Rai has completed his primary medical education from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Karnataka. He then completed his DNB in ophthalmology from JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital and Research Centre, Cuttack, and a 2-year fellowship in glaucoma from LVPEI in Hyderabad.
His clinical interests include cataract surgeries, glaucoma surgeries, including trabeculectomy and glaucoma drainage devices, post-keratoplasty glaucoma, and congenital glaucoma. His research focuses on reducing the incidence and morbidity related to blindness secondary to glaucoma. He has presented at various national and international conferences and has published in many international journals.
