About the centre
Established in 2011, the Kode Venkatadri Chowdary Campus in Vijayawada provides accessible, comprehensive, and high-quality eye care to communities across central Andhra Pradesh. The LVPEI KVC campus is a tertiary care facility, accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH).
The KVC campus offers comprehensive eye care services, covering both routine and specialized ophthalmic treatments. It also offers 24/7 emergency care. Patients can walk in during OPD hours or call ahead to schedule an appointment. Follow-up consultations and community camp referrals are also accepted.
The Centre supports 14 Vision Centres across nearby mandals and villages, providing tele-consultation and referral services for advanced eye care needs. Part of the LVPEI Eye Care Pyramid Model, this centre is linked to the LVPEI Quaternary Eye Care Institute in Hyderabad for advanced surgical and specialty referrals, ensuring continuity of care.
