In this video Ms Anasuya Kumari, aged 71 years, from Bhubaneswar, shares her LVPEI experience. She was diagnosed with Glaucoma with uncontrolled eye pressure in her left eye. She had consulted several eye specialists in the past but was never sure of finding satisfactory treatment, and was highly anxious about eventually losing her eyesight. At LVPEI Bhubaneswar, she felt comforted by all the caregivers and developed a high level of trust in her treating doctor, Dr Avik Kumar Roy. She underwent the recommended surgery under local anaesthesia and is delighted with her visual outcome.
