About the Institute

Established in 1987, the Kallam Anji Reddy campus in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, is LVPEI’s flagship Centre-of-Excellence for eye care. It is a world-renowned facility offering comprehensive eye care, research, education, and rehabilitation.

The KAR campus is home to several institutes of excellence that focus on various specialities like cornea, retina, glaucoma, and even eye cancer. The campus offers 24×7 emergency care.

The campus serves as the Quaternary Eye Care Institute, the top of the LVPEI Eye Care Pyramid Model, and is the pinnacle referral centre for tertiary, urban, and secondary eye care centres across the network.

It has been accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) since 2023.
